The Council submitted a grant request of $7,000 to the City of Salem Public Works to create a cedar hog fuel trail at the Fairview Mitigation Wetlands site. Thanks to Ed Emrick for his yeomanŐs work on the grant application. On Saturday, April 22 starting at 9:30 am, Tanya Beard will lead a tour of Bonesteele Park. After the tour, there will be a work party to remove lemon balm, ivy, and blackberry from the forested areas.
